Paris: Gauthier-villars Etc Hard Cover. A complete set of one of Appell's major works. This set is a mixed edition, uniformly rebound in blue buckram cloth with original wrappers bound in. Possibly ex-private library copies as there is an indication of old labels at the base of the spine panels. Previous owners names blacked out on endpapers. Volume 1 is a 5th edition from 1926, Volume 2 is a fourth edition from 1924, Volume 3 is a third edition from 1921, Volume 4 from 1921, and Volume 5 from 1926. A solid working set with solid bindings and clean textblocks. Good. [Book #10395] |
