London: T. Cadell Hard Cover. vi, 112 pages. Several nice engravings, one on the title page and the second on page vi. 3/4 leather over marbled boards. Spine has been rebacked in a simple manner with no markings at all. Corners and extremities generally worn. Marbled endpapers, front and rear hinges cracked but holding. Clean throughout, fore-edge margin over 1 1/4 inches. Front and end free endpapers are stained at top. Foxing and offsetting to front engravings. Scarce. OCLC notes 9 copies of this title published in 1793, and 4 copies published in 1800. This copy is not dated. A note from a previous bookseller on the front flyleaf indicates 1 copy listed in NUC - we have not verified this however. Good. [Book #13850] |
