The Human Anatomy in Amazing Trans-Vision - Graphic Cross-Sections of the male and Female Anatomy in Living Color

Hard Cover. Apparently a supplement to the Britannica 10 year program "To supplement and further clarify the Anatomy article contained in Volume 1 of the New Edition" of the Britannica Encyclopedia. Given that there is no imprint information on this very slim volume, it may be a sample used by Encyclopedia salesmen to show a "highpoint" of the Britannica on their sales trips door to door. On the other hand, it is possible that this slim volume exists to separate the anatomy illustrations from the text given certain societal concerns. The boards are plain leatherette?? with the 1768 emblem on the front seen on the regular volumes. Inside are several pages of explanation, and then 6 illustrations on a flexible plastic showing various parts of the human body. Quite a nice survival actually. The illustrations are as new, but the boards and endpapers show some evidence of dampstaining/mildew. Very Good.
