Fifteen of the plates representing work by Jules Guerin and the five remaining from Maxfield Parrish (as issued). The Parrish plates are taken from Edith Wharton's Italian Villas and Their Gardens (1904), which Parrish illustrated. The Guerin plates were also used in book illustration; all are taken from Robert Hichens's The Spell of Egypt (1911).

Individual prints could easily be framed, matting out the library stamp, and placing each printed caption on the new acid-free mount. Or viewed and appreciated as is!
