Each mount bearing a library ink stamp at upper right corner); mild foxing to cardstock on one or two examples; one Parrish plate with crease line running at an upward diagonal across the plate Portfolio is approximately 14.25 x 11.25 inches; three-quarter grey/green cloth over printed paper boards. Boards scuffed and worn; ex-library ticket to upper board; cloth ties; library bookplate, ink stamp, and handwritten annotations to front pastedown; card pocket and electronic tag at rear pastedown; properly de-accessioned. Fifteen of the plates representing work by Jules Guerin and the five remaining from Maxfield Parrish (as issued). The Parrish plates are taken from Edith Wharton's Italian Villas and Their Gardens (1904), which Parrish illustrated. The Guerin plates were also used in book illustration; all are taken from Robert Hichens's The Spell of Egypt (1911).

Individual prints could easily be framed, matting out the library stamp, and placing each printed caption on the new acid-free mount. Or viewed and appreciated as is!
