The text pages are chipped at the edges and some of the spine folds are separated. No loss of text. The plates are nearly all in fine condition, with occasional chipping to the extreme edges of the plates and no loss to the image. 8 loose pages of description (in German) detailing each plate and it's contents. 30 loose color plates, with wonderful production values. This large set of color plates was published by Springer & Moller AG ('lacquer and color works'). 'Brush, squirting and stencil' techniques from the Dresden studio of painter Paul Grohmann, highlighting the potential applications of Springer & Moller's products in murals and decoration. OCLC notes this was issued in a portfolio, here lacking. Scarce, with only 6 institutions holding examples as of this writing.
