Place published from spine. Nagakura is a well known Japanese scientist. Created on the occasion of his retirement by friends and containing selected papers and Tribute articles about him. Included are a number of Nagakura's best papers, and commentary from luminaries about his contributions. This copy is INSCRIBED by Nagakura to Professor H.[enry] Linschitz "with sincere compliments" on the front flyleaf, and is accompanied by a typed signed letter from Nagakura to Linschitz asking that he accept it as a token of their friendship, and a return copy of the letter accepting it from Linschitz. An unknown number of copies were printed. Scarce in the trade. A handful of copies in OCLC/Worldcat.
