This issue is of interest for two reasons. First, it contains a commentary on the newly developing field of Television (pp. 171-173), in which the author opines on the impact this might have on opticians - suggesting that the development of new infra-red eyewear might become reality if Baird's Noctavision comes into commercial use. It also mentions Dinsdale's Seeing by Wireless as a good source for readers to understand what is happening. There is also an illustrated article on the Zeiss Planetarium (pp. 188-192).
Not in Shiers.
