Worn, with several inked marks. Several nice woodcuts, including an ark on the waters on the front wrapper, nice title page scene, a mountain erupting with lightning, and one other. Good. Pamphlet. 
Wrapper title "No. 73, I. Series "The Thunder Storm" ... Stereoptyped by L. Johnson ... Philadelphia: American S. School Union, Depository, 148 Chesnut Street ... I Ashmead & Co Printers". The text references the date Monday, 5th of July 1819. Advertisement on rear panel.
OCLC (Acc#191257250) shows four copies, and notes "The American Sunday-School Union was located at 148 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, between 1825 and 1827" and attributes the work to Mary Martha Sherwood. The AAS catalog notes Shoemaker, R.H. Checklist of American imprints for 1820-1829, 30800 and dates it to 1827.
Chesnut is a misprint for Chestnut.
