A prospectus trying to attract interest in East Providence, RI by extolling the area's virtues as well as planned improvements. The first plat (plot of land) was "the Sherman place", purchased and renamed "Pleasant Bluffs" with roads and lots laid out. Others followed. The pamphlet notes that in 18 months 500 lots had been sold. Potential applicants are to contact Lysander Flagg, James Davis, or Fred Brigham. Part of the sales pitch was why rent when you can buy?
A scarce piece, with only one noted in OCLC at the American Antiquarian Society as of this listing.
