The first, marked '49' upper right, votes to continue an honorariam to Mrs. Mina M. Edison during the calendar years of 1933 and 1934, with terms and conditions noted. SIGNED on the verso by Charles Edison, C. S. W. (Charles S. Williams, Jr.), H. H. Eckert, Henry Lanahan, Thomas A. Edison Jr., H. F. Miller, and J. V. Miller, plus the secretary. The second leaf is a full, true and correct copy of an this meeting minutes, again signed by the aforementioned people plus Theodore M. Edison (Thomas Edison's Estate Executor), Mina M Edison, and Theodore M. Edison. Near Fine. Disbound. [27892]


These and other Thomas A. Edison, Incorporated meeting minutes were acquired by us from another dealer in May 2006 at a tradeshow. There has been some controversy over the years about how these ended up in the marketplace but to the best of our knowledge there has never been any proven wrong doing. Thomas Edison, Sr. died October 18, 1931 and his wife continued to offer services to the company afterward, hence the payments recorded here.
