New York: Robinson, Pratt, & Co. 1836. xii, 372 pages. 4 3/4 x 7 7/8 inches. Publisher's brown embossed cloth binding in an unusual leaf pattern. Spine sunned with several soil spots to the binding. Gilt titles on spine. Previous owner name on front flyleaf (Susan Fitch). Binding loosening (cracked at title page) but holding, a good reading copy. Title page was apparently trimmed at the foreedge extending 1/2 inch into the page but not affecting text. A further intrusion into the title page is midway down the title page (burned?) which affects a few letters on the copyright page. Occasional light foxing internally. Good. Cloth. [28302]
