The 1780 (second) edition of this important work which was originally published in 1755.

"Zinn, one of Haller's best pupils at Gottingen, became professor of medicine there. Although he died young [at 32 years of age] he produced this important book on the anatomy of the eye which is a fundamental work in the history of ophthalmology. His name is preserved in those of several of the finer structures of the eye: the central artery of Zinn, circulet of Zinn, zonule of Zinn, etc. Included in the volume are seven excellent folding plates."

"The first complete study of the anatomy of the eye, including the first description of the 'zonule of Zinn' and the 'annulus of Zinn."

Heirs of Hippocrates 2/607, referring to the first edition of 1755, Garrison/Morton 5/1484 also referring to the first edition of 1755. See also Osler 4298 (this edition).
