Three ring binder housing 6 x 9 12 inch lined paper sheets, most typewritten, with minutes of the Westerly Branch of the Rhode Island Chapter of American Guild of Organists. One grouping, laid in and held together by jute string, was compiled by Secretary Albert M. Webster, and covers January 1944-May 1953. The second grouping was compiled by Secretary Barbara Brooks, and covers through 1961. Good. Three Ring binder. 
Contents bulk 1 1/8 inches, and include lists of members and their addresses, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, and a few photographs. In the rear are some letters laid in as well. Guest speakers are noted, plans and social events, special guests (organist of the Salt Lake City Tabernacle Dr. Frank Asper is noted as a planned guest), etc etc. Laid in is a printed 4 page pamphlet with A Brief History of the A.G.O., for a much later event (a April 28, 1974 program of music). A nice snapshot into one of the lesser known social groups in the mid-20th century.
