Publication information from OCLC entry 19950417 which notes this work is found in "Electrical papers from Lord Rayleigh's Library. [#12] as an 'Extract from the Transactions of the Society of Telegraph Engineers.'" If so, it would have been Vol III, 1874, pages 296-338. The fact that the pagination here starts with [3] leads us to believe this may have been an offprint of the paper, now lacking it's wrappers. The article also appears in the Scientific Works of C. William Siemens (Vol 2, Electricity and Miscellaneous, London: John Murray, 1889).

Items inscribed by Siemens are not often found in the marketplace.
