[ New York, Philadelphia, Washington ]: J. M. Stoddart & Company Publishers [ 1886/1887 ]. Approx 16 x 27 inche with fold lines. With slightly wider margins upper left. Bright and clean, in shrinkwrap. "F. Moras Lith Phil Pa" lower right corner. Near Fine. [27915]

Derived from an earlier US Government Map, this edition of the map was lithographed for the book "Memoirs of Robert E. Lee" published by J.M. Stoddard & Company ( New York, Philadelphia and Washington: 1886/1887). A fine display map, it is often missing from this book having been removed for framing by civil war enthusiasts. So much so that the book is rarely found with the map these days. We acquired the map as is, and did not remove it from the book.
