A four-page prospectus for the book "Fine Bird Books 1700-1900" which was published in 1953. Includes a brilliant color plate ("Specimen Plate" Plate 32 - Black Headed Tragopan - J. Wolf &J Smith Del et lith, M.&.N.Hanhart, imp.) plus a four-page pamphlet explaining the intended editions, and a detailed description of the intended contents including a list of the 15 color plates and 23 black and white prints expected to be in the edition.
A beautiful example of what a prospectus can be, oddly well preserved after nearly 75 years.
