Manual of Photography Prepared under the Supervision of Brigadier General A. W. Greely, Chief Signal Officer, for the Use of the U.S. Army
Washington: Government Printing Office 1896. 112 pages. 7 3/8 x 4 7/8 inches. Publisher's blue cloth with gilt title on top board. Small paper label on spine. INSCRIBED by the author "To the Editor of Wilson's Photographic Magazine with the Compliments of the Author" on the front flyleaf. The (presumably) usual paste-on notice on the front pastedown has the part "is the property of the United States and by direction of the Secretary of War is deposited with [blank] for official use" cancelled out with the same black pen used for the inscription. Spine panel sunned, minor wear overall to the balance of the binding, light corner bumps. Internally clean. Very Good. Cloth. [29768]
Wilson's Photographic Magazine was a regular reviewer of all things photographia, and it is not surprising that the author sent them a copy.
